The Autocar, 1899:

Thanks to the courtesy of Messrs. Friswell, Ltd. , of 18, Holborn Viaduct, E. C., we are able to reproduce a couple of interesting photographs of a Mors car. The driver is a French military officer, and the photograph was taken just before he started on some recent maneuvers. At the moment we have no further particulars of his adventures, but we know that he accomplished his journey satisfactorily, and gave the greatest satisfaction to the military authorities. It will be noticed among the other baggage that this resourceful soldier carried was a spare tire.
